Vintage 1950 Ungar Stone Marbled All Lucite Box Bag Handbag Diamante Catch

  

A beautiful, all lucite box bag by Ungar. The handle and quality of Lucite suggest that the bag was manufactured by Wilardy. But that is just a guess.

A natural stone coloured marbled Lucite. Thick heavy quality lucite throughout. Split Lucite handle that looks like a Wilardy.

The catch is a brass scroll that clips over a post and is decorated with a diamante set star. Very good vintage condition throughout. The hinge is not quite fitted correctly and the lid does not sit square on the base. This does not stop the catch working or affect it in any other way.
