Antique 1920s Evening Outfit of Dress Shoes Garters Fan Headdress all boxed

  
This is a wonderful original 1920s evening outfit in coral pink. The Outfit consists of a dress (underdress and outer dress), brocade covered shoes, garters, a wooden framed fan and a matching head dress of ostrich feathers on a black circle. All the items were packed into a Marshall & Snelgrove box. The whole outfit was obviously a favourite as it shows wear and that it has been kept together in a box. The dress has an L shaped tear in the silk and some of the stitching of seams are coming apart, one of the shoes has a worn spot in the brocade, the thread holding the fan together needs replacing, the head dress is misshapen - see photos. These were owned by an English socialite in the late Victorian era and after; I also have other accessories of hers - in particular some fans, evening bag and hat plumes.
